Denise Hayes, RPh., M.S. has been the owner and pharmacist-in-charge of the Haworth Apothecary since she bought the store from previous owners 16 years ago along with her husband, Bill. After earning her Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island, she went on to receive her Master's Degree in pharmacy administration from Long Island University. Denise worked as a staff pharmacist and pharmacy manager in various pharmacies before purchasing Haworth Apothecary in 1993. In addition, Denise is a member of the Haworth Ambulance Corps., the Haworth Board of Health, the American Pharmaceutical Association, as well as being a state-certified consultant pharmacist.
Bill Hayes in an EMT on the Haworth Ambulance Corps. and sits on the board of directors of the Phoenix Pharmacy Group, a cooperative buying group consisting of 150 independently owned pharmacies. Bill provides complimentary blood pressure screening. Please feel free to stop in and see Bill.
